Screen Saver
Builder is a Windows 95/98/NT tool that lets you create your own screensavers. It allows
you to combine as many JPEG, GIF, BMP, and PPM images as you want into a single SCR file
(see screenshot). It also
makes screensavers that can be automatically installed.
The previous update featured a new graphical interface,
added sound support, and supported a thumbnail preview function. Version 2.20 added MIDI
sound support. The last release included screensavers uninstall, save and load project
features, background color, and many other improvements. Version 2.40 added support for
MP3 files, enhanced Windows 2000 compatability, and fixes a few minor bugs. Version 2.43
gives you the ability to choose a custom icon for your screensavers. There is also a few
minor bug fixes.
An unregistered copy displays a nag screen and will
not allow distribution of screensavers. The cost to register is $10. |
