JPEG Optimizer
will compress image files in the JPEG format. The program interactively displays onscreen
the results of changing compression settings. JPEG Optimizer supports variable compression
(that is, some areas of the image may be compressed more than others). This improved
compression can sometimes produce images half the size of those compressed with other
standard programs. JPEG Optimizer also uses MagiCompress to shrink images at the touch of
a button, and can be used in batch mode. This version features a smaller overhead install
program and new corporate graphics. |
